PERSONAL FITNESS TRAINING AND YOGA
Our Staff
Kairin van Sweeden Well at the moment its only me but I'm
looking for like-minded people to join me. I have been a Personal Fitness Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor
for 12
years and I've been teaching yoga for 5 years. I passed the RSA Exercise to Music exam in 1996 and I
continued to do more modules with London Central YMCA, including
Exercise and Fitness Testing, Nutrition, Resistance Training Pre and Post From 1996 until 2000 I worked in Group Exercise
Instructor teaching Step, Spinning, Body Pump, Circuit Training etc. During this time I was able to
attend many workshops and conventions where I interacted with my fellow
teachers. In 2001 I needed a new
challenge, so I moved to the above
but this time in my newly acquired second language, Dutch. I also followed a Body Combat course and
learned lots of boxing and
martial arts techniques, then in 2005 I completed an Ashtanga
yoga teacher training course. This was challenging for me as after years of running, swimming,
cycling, weight training and teaching exercise classes. I had lots of tightness 'issues'
and restrictions. However, I quickly saw and felt the benefits and after 5
years the flexibilty, strength and balance
gains just keep coming. So come and join me in one of my classes.
