MY OPTIMAL BALANCE CLASS IS BASED AROUND THE ASHTANGAPRIMARY SERIES.

AFTER THEFIRST FEW LESSONS THIS BECOMES A FAIRLY PHYSICAL AND FLOWINGCLASS, BEGINNING WITH SUN SALUTATIONS, STANDING ASANAS (YOGAPOSES), SITTING ASANAS AND FINALLY ENDS WITH SOME RELAXATION.

 

I HAVE INSERTED EXTRA BALANCE ASANAS INTO THE STANDING PHASE OF THE CLASSTO STRENGTHEN BOTH THE HIPS AND ANKLES. MY OPTIMAL BALANCE YOGA CLASS ALSOINCORPORATES A SPECIAL BREATHINGTECHNIQUEAND EXERCISESBOTH THE'CORE' MUSCLES AND PELVIC FLOOR.

 

MANY PEOPLE BELIEVE THAT THEYHAVE TO BE FLEXIBLE TO FOLLOW A YOGA CLASS BUT THIS IS NOTTHE CASE. THIS CLASS WILL DEVELOPBOTH FLEXIBILTY, BALANCE AND STRENGTH. THE STUDIO CAN TAKE 4 PARTICIPANTS ONLY, SO MAT SPACE MUST BE RESERVED. BEGINNERS AND INTERMEDIATE PARTICIPANTS CAN BOTH BE CATERED FOR BUT PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE THE START DATE TO LET ME KNOW WHICH LEVEL YOU ARE.
